This is the first time this has happened to me. I was kind of surprised, but I did what Ste suggested, hit escape, and I did this twice, and it was gone. lol.

We're taking a break from computers next week and going camping and fishing. lol.

I will miss it, though. <grin> lol.

I might take my notebook with me to see if there is internet access in the campground where we are staying. lol.

I know there won't be on the River, and on our Pontoon boat. lol.

I better go No mail on this list while I'm gone. lol.

this happens to me too. I think it might be an issue of your win key being stuck? Not sure about the progressing thing but I noticed that to when I hit g when typing, it sometimes does that.

Hello Pat,

We are not seeing what you describe. If you didn't intend to open
AppGet, you can always tap the Escape key to close it.

Steve

Hi Everyone,

I wonder how long it will take for the "Get Apps" to do whatever it's
suppose to do. <grin> I didn't even initialize it, I was on my desktop,
so I thought, and I hit the letter g, to go to my Gmail account, and it
started the Get Apps thing. lol.

When I just alt-tabbed to that window, it said "App get Progress.
Retrieving App list, please wait. Then it says Progressing! Progressing!
It's been doing this now for over 15 minutes. lol.

What is the app getting? I assume it's getting a list of Window-Eyes
Apps, is it installing all of them or just downloading them?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated, please.

Thanks much.
