Hi again, Michael and all, I rechecked an email received from the distributor in South Africa saying that Window-Eyes 7.2 is compatible with Windos 2000 but perhaps it may be the last version to be, not sure, also not sure if Firefox is compatible with 7.2 and Windows 2000. Actually I am working on the principle don't fix something if it's not broken because I only really use internet to subscribe to stuff I can receive via email and it seems my IE 6.0 is still ok with that. The problem is that I am not receiving confirmations from groups on Googlegroups or topica Yahoogroups perhaps because my ISP thinks they are spam though I am working on solutions to this so it is probably not a browser issue though I cant' seem to get into my ISP's new message centre which is probably a browser issue, not that I need to get into it much. I am still waiting to get additional memory for Window-Eyes .2 as it was the most updated hen I purchased it hich is why I haven't got 7.5 yet.

Hi, Ricky. From reading your messages concerning your queries, here are the best answers I can provide. A browser, be it I e 8 or 9, is tied to the Windows operating system. So, it doesn't matter whether or not Window-eyes 7.2 will work with I e 8 or 9. Should you choose to upgrade to I e 9, it will not work with Windows Xp. I e 8 was incorporated into Windows 7 until I e 9 was released. In the readme documentation it is mentioned which operating systems are supported, and Windows 2000 is no longer one of them. I seem to remember that Window-eyes version 7.2 was the first version to no longer work with Windows 2000, but please don't quote me on that. Hi Tyler and all, Thanks, what is the latest version of IE that'll work with Window-Eyes 7.5? I then may have to also think of another version of Windows that is suitable too, thanks all again. Hi Ricky, Windows 2000 isn't even supported anymore. So, ie 9 won't work with it. Vista and seven only.
