Hi Steve

I'm quoting below the three e-mails I sent to GW-MICRO of which the
first one was to you. I believe I was clear about the problems experienced.

Thanks.
Jacques

Hi Doug

I haven't had a reply from you on this yet, but thought I'd give an
updated report as to perhaps narrow things down a bit.

I've noticed that if I perform the keystrokes a little slower when
expanding the treeview of tasks, W-E 7.5.1 does not lock up as it did
when I did the expansion slightly faster. The level of the treeview is
not reported correctly though, as previously explained.

Thought I'd mention this ...

Hi Doug

I'm forwarding this to you, perhaps if you could have a look at whether
this can be reproduced your end. Shortly after purchasing W-E on 14 June
I reported this to the GW-INFO list but did not get a meaningful
response. I reported this to Steve, see below, but haven't had a
response from him.

I obviously don't expect a quick fix to this, but would like to know if
it can be duplicated your end and, if so, if it would be put on the list
for looking into in a future update.

The problems experienced with the Task Scheduler as well as my system
specs are outlined below.

Thanks in advance for looking into this.

Best regards
Jacques

Hi Steve

Shortly after purchasing W-E 7.5 recently, I reported this on the
GW-INFO list, but haven't had any response from GW-MICRO, so would like
to report it again to be considered for a future update.

With v7.5 I reported the following:

1. W-E does not report the treeview accurately when expanding or
collapsing the tree for existing tasks.

2. When creating a new task, W-E does not report the check boxes
accurately when selecting specific days for a task to be performed.
Despite toggling the status with spacebar, the status continues to be
reported as "not checked."

3. When selecting a specific day from where the task should start, or a
specific time at which it should run, W-E does not correctly report the
selections made.

Unfortunately with v7.5.1 things have become worse, in that, as soon as
the treeview with existing tasks is expanded, W-E appears to lock up
altogether. I need to close and restart W-E to regain speech.

The above behaviour is something which I've tested numerous times with
the same result.

Although I realise that the Task Scheduler is a function which not many
users are using, I perceive it as a core part of the operating system.
Although I do not think it's fair to make comparisons between different
products, I can say that this function works as expected with NVDA.

Thanks in advance for looking into this. I'm giving my specs below.

W-E: v7.5.1
Windows 7, 32 bit
All latest OS updates installed.
Display card: ATI Radeon 2100 with latest drivers.
