Greetings,
These are actually key labels. The quickest way to turn them off is to go to Keyboard/Voice in the Window-Eyes control panel, and set the option to Off. Alternatively, you can open the key label dictionaries for each program you want to change and delete the entries you don't want to hear. Hi List, When performing certain commands within word Window-eyes speaks the performed command after pressing the short key combination. E.g. when selecting text of a paragraph with ctrl+shift+down arrow, WE speaks "selecting to end of paragraph" and when browsing to the next founded item after a search using ctrl+page down, WE speaks: "browse next". I tried to switch this speak option off, but I didn't find a way to turn this option off. Does anyone know how to turn this option off? Especially when selecting multiple paragraphs at once, this spoken information is quite annoying.
