Hi Mike, yes, VLC is quite accessible and I use it on a daily basis. To get the best accessibility you will need the qt support app from app central. see a message from steve Clower below: "I'm told that the QT Support script helps make apps like VLC accessible. Download it from https://www.gwmicro.com/Script_Central/Scripts/Script_Details/?scriptid=1225 . Regards, Steve"
the link may be outdated but you should simply be able to find qt in the apps. hope that helps and you can enjoy the vlc media player! cheers Martin ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 12, 2011 11:59 PM Subject: using VLC Media Player with Window-eyes Hello fellow Window-eyes users, I just found out about a software program called VLC Media Player. Apparently what this is supposed to do, is put a virtual dvd player on your computer. Have any of you on the list or at GW Micro ever heard of it? If so, do you have any idea as to whether or not its accessible with Window-eyes? Mike Rochester, NY. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
