Well, the standard google wasn't always so friendly to screen readers, and back then is when and why they created the special version for screen readers. also, they had some idea of filtering the easier to read sites up to the top, but I never really saw much help from that, and suspected it never worked.
now, for some strange reason, the accessible version gives you a results page that's much less accessible than the standard version (it's created from their customized search feature). I couldn't even find a way to go to the second page of results using it. I've never really seen a need for this "accessible google" thing, because the standard google page is just about as easy to use as it can get. Give that a try, i'm certain you'll find it works. Sometimes, companies go out of their way to make things accessible but in this case I think they've gone a bit overboard. There really is no need for it. Today Google (Accessible Page) is giving me some really confusing results not at all like it was yesterday. Do you know if Google is eliminating the accessible Search ? Do you know if there is an alternative page they are offering. I couldn't find much except sa partail blog message I managed to scrounge using the mouse about google plus or something. > Anyway, anyone know what is going on? > Rick USA > If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
