Peter,
According to Google's own accessibility website at
http://www.google.com/accessibility/products/, its ebook service is not
usable by screen reader users.

Steve

To all,
I've recently been to Random House's official website to look into
future career options for when I graduate from college, but ran across
a swath of choices of electronic book sites. One of them happened to
be Goog'e's E-Book site tha has some free titles thrown in there like
a spanish-english dictioanry that I might be able to use in my
flsp1010 Elementery Spanish I at my university in the southeastern
United States of America. Has anybody had success with using Goog'es
E-Book site and if so how? I used it and it shows up like this below:

In conclusion, I try to put in a page number such as 1 or 5 and
hitting enter as there is now continue or next button noticable using
a screen reader. I've tried other sites like bookshare.org, RF and B
and NLS just woud prefer a site that I could use it out right like
somebody suggested not that not long ago abtout bookshare.
Unfortunantly if your listening poster that somebody posted over your
message with an additional reply bleeping your post out of my scren
reader range for some reason that nobody nobody wrkers or cliens alike
could answer adaquately for me yet.
Thank you for your help about this matter and if you have
additional websites like audiable.com or others like Project
Gutenburg, World Library, University of Pennsylvania's, or any other o
any nuymber of topic with accurate and up-to-date or older dated
materials from fiction to nonfiction just send it my way. I'm trying
to find a site that dosn't require a e-reader like Kindle or Nook from
Barnes and Nobel cause the latter the research department didn't know
of any single accessible features nor were any advertized from my last
research like a month ago about that topic. Url's will be appreciate
with a list format hopefully and thanks so much in advance.
sincerrely,
Peter
