Just for those people who is thinking of getting those new series from Dell,
there's a fn key to toggle the touchpad and also the numlock and scroll
keys.
Fn + f5 is the touchpad
Fn - f2 is numlock
Fn - f3 is the scroll lock.

I have not find the application or shortcut menu which used to be on Dell
keyboard as yet.
I don't think its there anymore.
Darn...

I think he is trying to say, the newer laptop by Dell, I am not sure about
the inspiron series , it does not comes with a numlock key or scroll lock
key like before.

In the past, Dell keyboards comes with a numlock key, if you hold the fn key
and the numlock key, it will turn itself to a scroll lock key.
Now, the key don't even exist.
At present, there's only a few way to toggle these keys, through 3rd party
software/script, through the bios or usb keyboard.

As For a full size keyboard, I am not sure if Dell have such in their
series.
I know Acer is making those for gaming but the pricetag is way beyond I
think its worth as its design for gaming desktop replacement.

So the original person who intend to buy this Dell laptop, better check with
them if a numlock toggle exist on the keyboard.

Or, you can learn to use the laptop layout which is superior in many
ways in my opinion.
Then, you not only save effort by not having to constantly move your
hands across the keyboard, but you never need to worry about having a
numpad.
