I am running Office 2003, under Windows XP Pro with all updates installed.
Further I am using Window-Eyes 7.2.

A little while ago, my Excel started to act crazily. If for instance I open a
spreadsheet in Excel, and then Alt-Tab to another window, and here mark and
copy a bit of text or a number to the clipboard. When Alt-Tabbing back to the
spreadsheet, Office throws an error on me, asking me to send an automated error
report to Microsoft. This happens consistently. If I do have no info on my
clipboard, I can alt-tab back and forth as I want, with no probelem. In other
words, it seems to me, that soemthing is going on whenever there is anything on
the clipboard.

I first thought it could be a problem with some app installed on my pc. But
turning off all apps, did not exactly solve the problem. I then tried the
procedure on the other machine here, running the same OS and Office, as well as
same version of WE. On that other system, there is no problem in copying things
to the clipboard, and alt-tabbing back to the spreadsheet for pasting.

All in all, I do start to wonder if there could be anything on this computer
that would affect the behavior. Both machines are running Microsoft Security
Essentials, and SuperAntiSpyware; so even on the security part they should be
pretty similar. Has anyone else experienced this kind of behavior? Any ideas as
to how to fix it? As I said, this behavior started a couple of months ago, so
it worked fine before that. Likely some kind of setting that I have messed up,
or something similar. Thanks for all ideas, and sorry for the off-topic.
