Hi, I wrote in a message about not being able to cycle properly with alt-tab. well it seems the problem is more serious than that. I cannot now read context menus properly, cannot read the buttons on the taskbar, and cannot read the row of buttons that has sleep, hybernate, restart, ect. Not only that, but it's a windows issue of some kind because neither nvda nor microsoft narrator will read those either. So apologies that this isn't entirely related to window-eyes, but I can't restore the computer to an earlier time, and can't figure out how to turn system restore on. I'm also not sure how to repair whatever it is that is messed up. I did a c-cleaner registry scan after I uninstalled the ms office 2010. I have since reinstalled the office as well as put a backup registry from a few days back. No, I was not smart in making a current backup, I didn't think I needed to. Shows what I know, I know.

any ideas are welcome
