hi! I cannot reproduce this using the newest tb version 6.01. There are small issues with WE but at least tb should be usable for most things.
What currently does not work is: After opening tb you will have to leave the inbox and go back into it before it is read. You canot read links in mails, they stop speech and you will have to close the mail and reopen it. Some dialogues aren't read right now. You should change to "open new mails in a new window" instead of "in a tap" because this does not work. Beside that tb 6 (and also 5) do work okay for me using WE 7.51. Sometimes tb crashes but I could not figure out when. And sometimes WE gets a little bit slow. If this things could be fixed for the next beta or release, tb will work great again. for now it should be possible to use it if really needed. best wishes, martin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephen Clower" <[email protected]> To: "Casey" <[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, September 02, 2011 8:16 PM Subject: Re: a problem with thunder bird and it updating Casey, This, as you can imagine, is not typical behavior. Until we release our next update to Window-Eyes 7.5, we recommend staying with TB 3.1.12. Which antivirus program do you have installed? Does turning it off and/or temporarily disabling Window-Eyes apps improve the stability of Thunderbird?
