Hello Margaret,

Since this worked in 7.5, which is what I used to record the tutorial, the fact that it no longer does in 7.5.1 indicates a bug. We have logged the issue to be fixed.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi All,

I'm working my way through the Window-Eyes tutorial and ran into a couple of
problems in the section on using WE with Word and was wondering what I'm
missing?

I'm running WE 7.5.1 and Word 2007 from the Home and Student edition on XP Home
with SP3. I type my text, hit control-home to go to the top of the document.
Then press F8. WE says extended selection on, but sometimes says extended
selection off before I can get to the arrow keys or control arrow ones to
select by word. If I am able to get to them, Window-Eyes says extended
selection off when I press right arrow etc. I'm using DEC-Talk Access 32 and
the full keyboard layout. Does this feature possibly only work with a later
version of Word or only on Win 7?

Any help in getting straightened out would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Margaret
