Microsoft Essentials, and SuperAntiSpyware.
Will see if I can copy the list of installed apps. Somehow.

David,
Which antivirus program do you have installed on your computer? The
symptoms you describe are definitely not normal, and an external influence
may be at work.
Also, which apps did you install? Does setting App Status to off help?

I used the new AppGet feature, and did install a few apps, that I found
of interest. Later on, I wanted to turn off some apps, due to some error
tracking. Now, when I open the WE panel, then Alt-A and then under the
App manager, then App Manager. I get an error sound, and WE goes dead.
I can hit Enter, and WE unloads. If I now press the hotkey of Alt-Ctrl-W,
WE will load again. It tells me it has created an error report. Do I want
to send it now? I press Enter. What then happens, is that WE goes silent
for 5 seconds or so, and then the following error screen shows up - which
I had to load NVDA so as to get a chance of reading.
My question is, why does this happen. Why can't WE send its own error
reports. I don't know, but I really am experiencing this much trouble
after upgrading to 7.5.1 yesterday, I am about ready to view my whole
upgrading in vain; and downgrade to 7.2 again. If anyone can help
shedding light on anything that can make the screen reader work more
stabil, I would greatly appriciate. Strange that this version is causing
that much trouble, since earlier versions I have been able to update
right out of the box. If it is of any interest, I am running XP Pro with
all updates.
