I think what she means is antimalware as a second line of defense. I use the pro version of MalwareBytes antimalware. The free version provides on-demand scanning and updating whilst the pro version provides realtime protection, scheduled scanning and/or updates, and a flash scan which scans startup and running processes for potential malware.
