look in the start up scanningoptions in the essette menu by going into the main
window and hitting f 5 and then finding computer scan and look in there.

i unload drop box and carbonite.
i finally got to try it on my spare drive.
i found a automatic version updater by going to there support link and
searching on upgrade. one of the options is to download a automatic version
checker. you run this and it will check your current version and windows
version. then download and install the newest version. maybe the internet
traffic was hight at 11 a m. but it took 30 minutes to download the files,
delete the old version and install the new version.
the installer is useing graphic mode. i didn't think about checking to see if
it had a screen reader mode. i had to use the mouse to click on the control
buttons for yes,no,next etc.
this version after it is installed is accessible but in some place w e says
the same thing on 3 menu items
like there 3 menu items for the same thing in 3 or more places and they seem
to do the same thing when you click on them.
there are more options. like the gamer mode. this turns off pop up dialogs
and scheduled tasks until you quit the game.
more options can be changed individualy instead of globally changeing several
options with one command. etc.
it has some kind of on line scanner that scans your files while connected to
the net.
it still crashed at 95 percent and 6 hours of scanning the two drives i have
with wineyes loaded. eset has never crashed with wineyes unloaded. i will try
it again later.
i do not think it has the scan dialog to choose how you want eset to scan the
drives. i can't find it. it use to be in the start/programs /eset menu. and in
the context menu in the task manager.

Hmmm. I have done the fiull scans too. Been a while tho but will try
it. Do you leave WE running and any other apps?

Find the site map then under quick links, find the renew link.

i have uninstalled. but i have version 4 on two computers and both crash
with a full drive scan. it crashes at about 95 percent.
i already have a subscription. all i see is the option to buy another copy.
i use to be able to log on to my account with the eset user name and
password to get the next available version.

They changed the site a bit. Find the product you want then find the
      Buy or Free links.

As to the crashing, have you uninstalled, completely, the program?

        Howdy,
Just got a laptop and will need to get another lciense for ESET so I
      can
use either the laptop or the desktop. Still using version 4.x so
before
    I
go to the bother, I would like to know if version 5 is accessible.
      Thanks.
