Yes, window Eyes 7.5.X will work fine with the Focus Blu via a USB or Bluetooth connection. When you run Window Eyes for the first time with the Focus, be sure that you have the display connected and turned on, then go to the setting center and select devices from the tree view and arrow down to braill displays.
Let me know if you need further help. -----Original Message----- From: Vaughan Dodd [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, September 26, 2011 2:46 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Focus Blue Braille Display and Window-eyes v7.5.1 When I recall this general topic last coming up, at least 12 months ago, we did not have Window-Eyes v7.5.1, and I did not have access to a Focus Blue Braille display. At the same time - GW Micro had not tested the Focus Blue with Window-eyes. I may get a Focus Blue, and I currently have one on loan. The companion cd has the necessary drivers, so has anyone successfully interfaced this display with Window-eyes? USB is preferred, although having a Bluetooth is clearly a feature that I will use at some point. I cannot find out for myself at present, as I don't have administrator privileges on my work machine.
