In general: Excel and we 7.5.1 should work well.  I have specific problems with 
respect to Excel 2003 and Windows XP.  Excel crashes relentlessly, and GW are 
limited in terms of how my problem can be resolved.

I do have Office 2010 and Windows Seven at home, but don't use Excel   
frequently enough to reliably report on its performance.

So in short: I advice against using Excel 2003 and Window-Eyes v7.5.1..  There 
is no reason for me to believe that there are problems of my type with other 
versions of Excel. And of course: the crashing of   Excel here may be due to 
quirks of my specific installation.  I expect a range of opinions on this point.
