Hi, I am running windows xp sp 3, IE 8 and Window eyes 7.2. I cannot locate
the cookie folder on my system. I know it is located, or supposed to be
located in the documents and settings/user account/cookies. that particular
folder is missing. I was told that a root kit virus that avoids detection from
malware bytes and ccleaner could be to blame. I guess without a virus name, it
is impossible to tell which on it is to irradicate it.
I have ccleaner, malware bytes, nod32 v 4, microsoft security essentials,
and windows defender installed on my system. What else, besides reinstalling
windows, can I try to get access to the cookies folder?

Thanks

Keith
