Hi:
I just realized that some people may not have gotten the update notice
for the Proofreading app, so here it is for those who may be
interested.
Proofreading 4.5 has just been uploaded to AppCentral.
The changes are as follows:
All the options can now be set through a dialog. This dialog can be
accessed either by pressing control-shift-o or going into the app menu
and arrowing down to Proofreading. There are two items in that
submenu, the first one is the help dialog which has always been there
and the second one is called Options, which will take you to the
SetOptions dialog. Of course, all the hotkeys which existed in
previous versions have been left intact. Press alt-shift-f1 to get a
listing of those hotkeys.
Caution: Changes that are made through the SetOptions dialog will be
global (I.E. they will affect all applications). The changes which
are made using the hotkeys will still be local (I.E. they will only
affect the current application).
Second, the SayPunctuation key, alt-shift-p, has three options
instead of two. The Some Punctuation option will speak just the
punctuation marks used in basic writing such as the period, question
mark, comma etc.
I am looking for someone who speaks Polish to give me a Polish
translation of the Proofreading App submenu and the SetOptions dialog
so that this script can be made truly bilingual.
