Good news: if one goes to the U.S. version of the Audible site and
selects a book, there are now "play" and "pause" links which allow for
the sample from that work to be heard. I believe this feature has been
previously available on the UK edition. This appears to be an
accessibility feature created by an Audible Web site change. Thanks to
the folks at GW Micro if you had any part in lobbying for this welcome
enhancement.
