Yes: I have this problem on a fairly consistent basis. My experience with Window-Eyes v7.5.1 and Excel within Office 2003 has/is unsatisfactory.
Excel was consistently crashing, and this problem was resolved due to a rebuild of my pc at work. But the problem you have remains. I had thought that it might be related to a similar problem that I have relating to my Focus Braille display and the dodgy interface between Window-eyes and the Freedom Scientific driver. Are you using Braille output or just relying upon speech?
