Patricia,

To turn off the speaking of arrow keys, go to Keyboard/Special Keys in the WE control panel, and turn "Cursor Movement" off. To adjust what is spoken (if anything) when you type, go to Keyboard/Voice, and Tab until you reach the "Voice" combo box. Finally, if you want to hear the number of spaces in between words, then you want to enable the format alert feature. This is done under Screen/Other.

Regards,
Steve

Hi,
Most of my settings mysteriously disappeared, and in trying to reset them, I am
going a bit crazier. If someone can help, I would very much appreciate it.
The Voice says "up arrow" and "down arrow" every time I hit one of the arrow
keys.
The Voice says the last word I have typed.
The Voice will not tell me that there are two spaces after a period when they
are there.
Thank you,
Trish
