Martin,
I wouldn't think so. What is probably happening is that Window-Eyes is
reading the message, and therefore the first command being sent is
intercepted to stop speech, and the second keypress is the one which
actually gets sent to OE. If you hit Control to stop speech and press
Alt-F4 or Escape, does the window close as you would expect?

When you press the first Alt-F4, has Window-Eyes stopped reading the
message?

Hi guys!
I am using Windows Xp and Window eyes version 7.5.1.
Here's my problem that I am noticing with WE, and Outlook Express.
When i open up an email message, I of course read it. But then when I want
to close it, I have to press alt-f4 twice. Not sure why this is either. I
have tried this on many messages just to make sure it wasn't me. I have
also tried this on three keyboards. My laptop keyboard, and two external
desktop keyboards. I have windows xp, service pack 3, and all current
updates that are necessary. Thanks and any and all help would be
appreciated.
