I think the reason for not naming the price for the unit is to get people who are interested in said product to go to the company's website to check it out. I see two things here. First one is to drive traffic to the site. Secondly, the page should have more information to answer people's questions about said product. We're going back to Marketting 101 here. Offer a tease, and see how many people will bite.
