Duyahn give nod32 a try you will find that the tech support, and the program
are both friendly to work with. I use it and can highly recomand it.

Katherine? I hate to tell you this? But, i have spoken to them byh phone and
they still have the issues and still have not worked them out! Now, if you
want to let them dance around the issues, go right ahead.

This is what I'm talking about. You actually have to get on the phone with
GFI and make them see the real picture through remote access which is what
I'm doing. I'll keep you updated.

Hi Katherine

I as I said stopped using Viper until the bugs are worked out of it. Every
update, I had to tell Viper the software was safe to run. Even System access
gets Viper upset and that is one of the screen readers I use along with
NVDA, and Window Eyes.

You guys shouldn't have to worry about this since I use Vipre on my server
at home, and I'm going to show them what results using both screen readers
when they go in remotely. I just have to talk to Nick Hallin over at GFI
about it. JAWS has some issues too with Vipre, and that's my primary screen
reader for now at least. I'll keep you guys updated.

Pat?

There have been several things wrong with Viper when they have updated that
program. I use Windows XP so I speak from experience. I stopped using Viper
because it would either tag windows files that needed to run as viruses, or
it would tag safe programs even though I reported them as safe to run to the
technical support staff. I have even yhad issues with Viper when I have
needed to send error reports about Window Eyes. I have had to shut Viper
down, send the report and then reactivate it when I was finished. I finally
stopped using Viper because Viper would slow my computer down horribly even
when I was broadcasting. I am not saying everyone will have a horor story
with Viper, I am just sharing my experience with the list. I use Microsoft
security even though it's free. It does what I need it to do.
