Hi Bob,

This is usually done by modifying a paragraph property. If you've just got
the one paragraph which is indented, just move your cursor somewhere in it,
then use the format menu (alt-o), and p for the paragraph choice. If you
have many paragraphs indented, you'll need to select them all before
choosing the menu choice.

This opens a multi-tabbed dialog with 3 tab-sheets. You need to see if
you're in the "indents and spacing" dialog; you can just keep pressing
control-tab to cycle between the tabbed dialogs, and you'll hear the name of
each one. Or, you can shift tab a few times, which backs you up from the
first control, until you get to the tab so you can hear it's name, then
press left/right arrows to move between the tabs.

When you're in the correct tab sheet, press the tab key until you come to a
field which just says "left" as the prompt (this is the left indent); it
should not be 0 since you're seeing a left indent, so set it to 0, click ok
in this dialog, and you're done.

Hth,

Chip

Subject: Question About Word

I know I've asked this before. I got an answer and thought I'd remember.
But...

Word 2003:

How do I cancel the left margin being indented?
