Ted,
The company can install a copy of the Window-Eyes demo from our website
at http://www.gwmicro.com/demo. If a custom script needs to be created
to make the proprietary software work better, you can send email to
[email protected], and one of our representatives will get back to you
with more information.
Regards,
Steve

Dear List:
I just interviewed for an office administrative assistant position at an
insurance company. They use a variety of software programs that I would need
to access. Obviously, it would be best if I could have hands on evaluation
with Window-Eyes loaded on their computer to see if the programs were
accessible. However, I was told that some of these programs are proprietary
and they would be leery of my scrutinizing live data.
Are there other options to verify whether the software programs is screen
reader accessible? Can their tech support people evaluate their programs with
some testing tools with any degree of accuracy? If so, what do I need to
provide them in the way of procedures? Or, what about remote evaluation? If
the company were to give their consent for a remote evaluation, what would GW
Micro charge to do this? Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson
