Hello John.

The closest I can find which might solve your problem is to experiment with the
graphics option within Window-eyes control panel, under Braille settings.
It is the eight option within the Braille menu of the control panel.

The hopefully relevant option is verbosity, which gives six settings (only one
active at any given time) which manipulate the relationship between speech and
Braille output. As it would seem to apply only to graphics (although I'll test
for myself) it might not be the exact answer for you, and it is a good strategy
to run brailed and speech together when panning as undoubtedly, Braille reading
skills will improve.

One of the things to remember is that Window-eyes and individual Braille
displays have interface quirks, so it may prove useful if you could identify
the specific display which you have on loan.

Subject: braille display

I have just began working with a borrowed braille display.

My braille is pretty shaky.

Is there anyway to get WE to voice out the content when I'm panning thru a
document?

I believe hearing the text as I begin reading the braille would be helpful.

Thanx,
