Hmm, it is really interesting. When I hit the Windows key, WE does say Start
Menu, Taskbar. This is new behavior. Also, when I go to the Desktop, WE does
not say desktop as it used to. These aren't big issues, but they're definitely
strange, I think. Also, I was hoping the new update would resolve reading the
status bar in Word, but that's still slow. I know that Mike said it had to do
with the way Microsoft accessibility works? Hmm, not sure. I hope the new
update just has minor issues. I do want to acknowledge GW Micro's fixing of
the Excel find feature with the 7.5 previous update. WE used to be quite
unresponsive with Excel Find and replace until 7.5.1. I hope this is still
true. I was getting desperate since this is a feature I need to use quite a
bit.

Warm regards,

When you open a program through the Start Menu, Windows puts you back on the
Taskbar while the program is loading. Window-Eyes never used to echo the
Taskbar focus when this happens but it now does. It seems to have gotten
  better at detecting focus changes.

  Subject: Opening programs in 7.5.2

  Hi there!
First, it sure is nice being able to hear the dialog again for safely
removing hardware. I do have one question though.
Every time I open a program, any program, Window-eyes says taskbar,
then goes on to speak the usual stuff as the program opens. I wonder
  what this is about.
  Thanks.
