Classic Shell does not work with Window-Eyes. Use the regular Start Menu

I use a classic shell to give me that access to the start menu in
particular.
Since WE update Thunderbird echos at me no matter the keyboard settings.
Also I no longer have access to the start menu.
Any ideas?
cCheers
