Hello, >From Outlook 2007 onwards, automatic reading does not work natively. That is because Outlook uses MS Word to view the e-mail body. You need to use standard Word features to read the e-mail. There is an App which you may find of help, but I do not use that myself, just look through the App list and you will see it. .

I still have outlook 2003 at work. How ever, in the file menu it won't read the complete message if it is a long message, but if it's a short message you could check auto preview and it will read part of the message. Then you can find out if it's something you want to open in the first place. if it is a short message, it usually ends reading the entire message. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Yusuf" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, November 25, 2011 9:17 AM Subject: Automatic reading of emails in outlook > Hi, someone else asked this yesterday and I didn't see a reply, which > might be because they sent it direct to that person.
