WE Friends -

 

My Win XP desktop  developed a bad motherboard, so I replaced it with a Win
XP rebuilt by my loval computer service center. I have installed WE 7.5.2
successfully, and almost everything works as with my previous computer.

 

One problem I have not yet resolved is not being able to read PDF documents.
When I attempt to open a PDF file, Adobe Reader loads and runs as always,
but then after processing the document WE will only say "Top" or "Bottom."
No text is read.

 

I have made sure that the latest Adobe Reader WE factory set files are
installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Adobe
Reader. The result continues to be WE saying only "Top" or "Bottom."

 

Am I missing a setting somewhere? I have searched the WE and APP Central
websites, but have not found any articles or APPs that seem to offer
solutions.

 

Please help me to know whether I can adjust some settings to get WE and
Adobe Reader to function, or if I need to go back to my computer service
center.
