Hi,
Yes. It wasn't that it was the tracking cookie and tracking program related
to it. Even after I uninstalled AVG it was still sluggish a until I ran a
full scan with Mcaffee. AGV may catch virus's, but it didn't see the
tracking cookie. Now that Mcaffee got rid if that everything is working just
fine and faster.

By default, AVG updates virus definitions daily unless changed. Have
you gone into AdvancedSettings under Tools and disabled Link scanner?
This is an extra security feature but can slow things down.

Hi everyone,
I' used Mcaffee for several years and never had any problems. Recently I
switched to AGV because several people had told me that it worked great
and it’s FREE. Well I guess you do get exactly what you pay for. My
email had started loading slow, and some links on some web pages would
do nothing when I hit enter on them, also at times WE would be sluggish.
I just went back to Mcaffee and did a full scan. It found 1 pontentially
unwanted program and 1 tracking cookie. The program and the cookie were
connected. “ca2.nmj”
After Mcaffee got rid of this my email loads faster, the links work and
WE appears to not be sluggish. So for $39.00 a year I don’t believe I be
a cheapskate again. <grin>.
