Hello All,
In my previous message "Window-Eyes stuck in buffer" I stated how
Window-Eyes continually repeated text from a buffer. I can duplicate
this consistently.
Thunderbird 8.0 with tb 1.0.9
Firefox 8.0.1
Window-Eyes 7.5.2
Windows Vista Home Basic
After using Thunderbird or Firefox go to craigslist (this is the most
consistent site to exhibit this problem) search for an item or select a
category then select a post then go back, I use the Alt+left arrow, and
Window-Eyes doesn't speak hit 'l' to go to the next link and voila
Window-Eyes will continuously reread from a buffer either from Firefox
or Thunderbird, even if Thunderbird is closed. You will find that the
escape, control, arrow, control, Window-Eyes control panel doesn't com
up, redraw screen, etc. Switching to another window, Windows key for
the start menu and closing the Firefox with Alt+F4 will work but not
much else.
While writing this message I had to continually turn off "Browse Mode"
while typing and Window-Eyes is still inconsistently able to read edit
boxes in Firefox including the location bar by entering, cursoring or
backspacing. I hope these problems get fixed soon or I'll have to
downgrade Window-Eyes to 7.2 and Firefox and Thunderbird with the loss
of much settings and even e-mail.
