This morning, I went into the W. e. control panel and tried unloading Word Advanced ap. Window Eyes locked up, so I cold booted. When my computer came up, the "Tip for Today" read, but I couldn't do anything or go anywhere. The computer was fine, as my wife could open other programs, but couldn't make W. E. do anything. Finally, we uninstalled the program and re-installed 7.5 and updated. Things tseemed fine, until I installed my aps. It locked up again. I cold booted and the computer came back and Tip of the Day read through, but I couldn't do anything. Once again, the mouse was used and the program began to work. I turned off the "Tip" and now it seems okay. I'm not sure what's happening. I checked the factory settings and they are up to date.
