Hi:
A while back, a list member sent a message about Ninite installers.
These are little pieces of software that you install on your system
and they will automatically go and get the latest update of a specific
package. For instance, I downloaded and installed the Adobe Flash
Ninite and I have had no more messages asking me to install the latest
update for Adobe Flash player.
The following instructions are quoted from that message.
Go to
www.ninite.com
and find flash and flash ie. Check the checkboxes for
both if you use Firefox and Internet Explorer. If you only use IE just
check the box for Flash IE. Go to the get installer button and download
your installer. Save it to your computer and you'll be able to run it every
time Flash needs to be updated. Ninite installers get rid of the questions
and always answer no to any add-ons that are sometimes included with
software. This is also a great solution for Java and Winamp and many other
programs. Good luck.
