Bob,

Try reinstalling the set files for Office 2010 from the factory settings
menu choice of the WE control panel's file menu.  These often make a huge
difference in how WE works with Office.

If that doesn't fix it for you, then I'd suggest contacting support next
week; they'll help you get things working (they do work, because all the
rest of us are using Office 2010).
