Hi Shannon,
Can you explain exactly what you're trying to do? From what you said I
can't see what the purpose of the hyper window is. If you just want to
be able to define a window and read it "at will" as you said, then all
you have to do is assign a hotkey to that user window. Otherwise the
only time I have to overlay a hyper and user window is when I want the
hyper window to fire and tell me something and/or do something else
other than or along with automatically reading the user window.
Regards,
Tom

Good morning,
I did a complete emergency uninstall of 7.5. and then reloaded 7.5 then
upgraded to 7.5.2.
I have lost all my old sets and settings so I have to make them over. I
do have the old sets but I wonder if they were not some of my problem so
I will recreate the things I need as I trip over them.
I have just tripped over one this morning. I had a window set to read
the information that shows up on the screen that had to be set with a
user window and then a hyper one over that one to use the hot key to get
that info at will.
My question is why do I have to define two of the exact same windows to
do this? I have to make the user window then the hyper one then define
the hot key why can't the hyper one do the trick all by itself?
I recall it has always been this way but I never did understand why.
I just thought I would ask since every thing seams to be different when
it comes to defining custom things like this and graphic dictionaries
and set files perhaps this too has changed? Maybe I am wrong and in this
new version I won't have to layer the two windows to get at this
information?
Thanks Shannon I hope this made enough sense.
