Hi Don,
On most of the restore CD's you can do a custom install and choose not to
install the crapware. As a last resort you can go to the remove programs and
remove as much crap as possible. This can be done either VIA a sighted
helper or install your screen reader and then after removing all the crap do
an emergency removal and the restart and reinstall WE.

I have a new DV7 HP laptop on its way and of course it is loaded with
all sorts of crapware. So now GW says it is best to start with a fresh
copy of Windows on a new computer with no added Crapware. How is that
accomplished without spending $199 for a full install of the OS? The
recovery disks that come with the computer only can be used to restore
to its original state with all crapware. Am I missing something here?
