Actually, that's a good suggestion. I always used to get the CD, but
have gotten lazy, I guess.

hi andy, most all new systems come with win7 installed. some do come
with the xp mode installed over top along with win7 for those devices
that do not like win7. if your having so much trouble, i'd do a fresh
install of we7.5.2 and get the cd from gw. instead of using the free
download. you want to minimumize all posibilities in narrowing down the
problem.

My systems are Dell, one desktop and one laptop. Both run XP. It
appears that the folks who are having no issues are running Windows 7.
And, before you tell me to update to Windows 7, you can tell the VA. We
replaced an HD two weeks ago and the new HD came with, you guessed it,
XP. I asked the tech when we would be upgrading to Windows 7, and he
didn't have an answer.

Hey maybe we should look at this from another angle. For those that are
having the most problems what brand is the computer giving the most
problems. For example, isit HP, Dell, or what?

I have to agree here,I am running WE 7.5.2 on three computers and are
not having any of the problems. One is a Dell XP, one a Compaq XP and a
Gateway laptop with Win 7.

yes, i would agree, i think it has more to do witht he machine then with
win eyes, i am running iwn eyes 7.0 on a dell xps xp desktop machine, no
problem, and 7.5.1, and 7.5 on a toshiba techra laptop, and hp persario,
and have absolutley no problems with the functionality of win eyes. i
would lean toward a potential restore of your machines, or, maybe its
got a hidden virus which i have had before.
