Alan,

You said that your Asuss netbook has only 1 gb of RAM. That may well be
your problem with that machine. I have an Asuss netbook with 2 gb of RAM on
it and have few problems with it crashing.

When I bought the netbook it was recommended that I have at least 2 gb of
RAM in order to run WE and the programs I wanted to run on it.

Had some problems recently with the Asuss machine and an HP desk top machine
at work but both have seemed to disappear over the last few days. I make
sure the printer is off before shutting down the one at work and I wonder if
this helps.

Subject: WWindow-Eyes works fine well most of the time.

I'm running XP home with all the latest updates etc. I have an Asus netbook
with a gig of ram. Some times I'll ram out something will crash. Usually
it's window-eyes or something it depends on. I suspect what I really need
is to wipe the hard drive clean and restore my computer to the way it was
when I bought it. With C-Cleaner and malware bytes and my anti virus
program I've been holding off the inevitable but I'd guess when it comes
down to it, window-eyes will run much greater. I just can't help but
wondering how may instants of somebody's computer was at fault rather then
window-eyes. I'm not a tinkerer when it comes to my computer but I know
many blind people love to fiddle around with settings. Usually to their
cost I'd guess.

Happy Holidays to all!

Alan
