My thanks to the crew atWindow Eyes. I lost sight from R. P., in 1978, ending
my career as a remedial reading teacher. For 20 years, I struggled with
braille and as a musician, had my wife writing down my songs and communicating
for me. Got my first computer in 1998, with ASAW and quickly moved to Window
Eyes 3.1. Suddenly, I could write my songs, do business with email and use the
web for gathering material.

I've lived in a third world country, where the blind are treated as invalids.
Although I have my occasional frustrations with the computer, I count my
blessings and thank those who work to give us our independance.
