I must have changed something, in my settings. But can't for the best of me, see what, or remember doing so. The behavior here described, started a couple of weeks ago, and drives me crazy.
I have set WE to turn browse mode automatically on, whenever a new page loads. Also, it is set to automatically read the first 24 lines, and further give me a few of the 'overview' infos - like the number of links, headings, and tables. All of this, has worked flawlessly for a long time. But lately, when I click on a new link, I will have to manually either redraw the screen (Insert-Backslash), or I will have to manually turn browse mode back on, in case it turned off, when loading the page. Anyone has a bit of a clue, why I have to do things manually, when I have set WE to do the stuff automatically? Yes, I have tried to turn the Auto-Browse, and Auto-Read on and off (Insert-A, both in and outside browse mode); but all to no avail. I have chaecked my Verbose settings, and there also, the thing shows up as set to automatically doing the job. Having to press the key-combinations of redrawing the screen, and/Or browse mode, for each and every time you click on a link - well, to say the least, you get tired of it.
