I will do so. I suspect "super antispyware," since it may be doing
things in the background to disrupt it.
she has a lot of conversations. :)
Thanks Steve, it is, truly a breakthrough, for GW-Micro, and a lot of
work will have to be undertaken to maintain this one since how many
blind users use Skype, and how many of us don't like the Skype native
interface since it changes? Which percentage would jump at the chance
to use such a speech friendly and complete access program as this?
Quite a Christmas gift, and I will do all I can do to help as much as I can.
I used "Skype," but now it is a thing of the past, including
skype-talking which is good, and it works, but this interface is a
thousand percent better, and a lot less prone to issues since
programs don't depend on each other for information, let alone the
cross platform of different programming languages, etc, and then,
there is development of one without the other, etc. etc.
I think Skype is version 5 beta .7 . . . and changing all the time.
Screens upon screens of frustration, and where was my last
conversation, and how do I send touch tones to the number by enabling
the pad to do so etc. etc.
depending on jaws or Window-Eyes scripts to find the right window, or
the interface from skype talking to access the right one, was,
problematic until GW-Skype happened yesterday.
Talk about giving us access to adding people to a conversation,
dropping them, chatting, searches for those who we've forgotten about
since the "new" skype search is very difficult, working with our
Skype on-line credit, etc. etc.
Thanks! a heck of a lot. I feel like a kid in a candy store with this product.
And, it was Kim, who had the closest guess as to what was going to happen.

Curtis,
Do you know which antivirus or firewall is used on this machine? It
sounds like she needs to allow GWSkype and the accompanying Skype
runtime access to the internet. If access has been granted and this
continues to be a problem, then feel free to write back and we can
troubleshoot further.

My friend who had the difficulty said that it would completely lock

administrator, just about everything else she could think of.
Any ideas? :) she gave that install to her successful friend, and it
is the same one she used to install. . . . etc.

GW Skype is completely separate from the native Skype. You do not need
to have the native Skype installed. You can, however, communicate with
any Skype user, whether they're running GW Skype, the native Skype, or
some other third party Skype program (like those on some smart phones,
and Internet tablets).

A lot of companies this time of the year give away calendars, so my
guess the free gift is an accessible calendar.

Judging from the hints, I think that Window-Eyes will be available
for
all Windows, not just Microsoft. You can place it on the windows of
your house or apartment to find out what is out there. The mobile
version will allow you to use it on the windows of your hotel/motel
room. The mobile version also will work in a moving vehicle. In this
case you need to be careful with the verbosity settings so that you
can keep up with what is outside the car; especially if you are
behind the wheel.
You can place it over the window of a vending machine to get
feedback
on what less than healthy, but desirable snacks are there for you.
Because our eyes are the window to our souls, this version will let
you know what people are feeling. This will be handy when we are
going
out to pubs or night clubs. Us men are usually pretty thick when it
comes to knowing when someone is interested in us. Window-Eyes to
the
soul will now alert us when someone is flirting with us. I better
begin work on my grace and charm.
The virtual version is where this new product really shines. No more
missing those windows of opportunity. Window-Eyes will announce any
window of opportunity that comes our way.
I can hardly wait.

Hey, it was good news that GW-Micro released this free ap for those
that will use it. As far as me, I'm going to use my I-Pod Face
Time but
I'm not like others on the list. For those that this will work for,
good luck with this ap is all I have to say. Funny chat line event
once
in a lifetime!
