Pat,
I don't know the service you here are talking about, at all. And, likely it
is a reliable one. Still, I wanted to point out, for you and the rest, to be
careful. Electronic greeting cards, and ECard services, are known to be big
spreaders of spam, spyware, and other kind of malware. So, before signing up
for any such service, make sure you know fully, and do know ALL parts and
risks, of the service. They either might install things on your computer, or
they might use every ECard you send, to spread all their stuff.
A general warning, this is. And, if any of you ever get an electronic card,
even from someone who you know, you really need give it some extra thought,
before opening the card mail - or going to the card website. I personally
have had rather negative experience with that kind of service. Even had
mails coming, claiming they were greeting cards from my friends, and when
you opened them, it clearly shun through, that such could never be true.
Again, the particular service here in question, I do not know, so have no
compentance on saying anything about that one. Just wanted to make you all
aware of the potential danger, that such kind of services - in general -
poses.
Others might have more specific experience with the service you asked about.

Subject: Window-Eyes and American Greetings
Hi Everyone,
I've been considering signing up for American Greetings on
http://www.americangreetings.com. I was wondering if anyone has had
problems picking out greeting cards to send via email and it looks pretty
accessible. Any thoughts on this? I see they even have Talking greeting
cards. I feel for me the membership would be worth the $20.00 a year, and
so I just want your thoughts as far as accessibility goes with
Window-Eyes.
Thanks.
Pat Ferguson
