I sometimes use the mouse to read a message or click on a recalcitrant link.
What is the best boundary setting to use for this purpose? Should it be
full screen, focused window or user window? I used to be able to use the
mouse successfully but right now, no matter how I set the window, when I
route the pointer to the cursor with Insert-plus and then try to read with
the mouse I just get a "ding" sound.

Also, what have any of you expert users found to be the advantage of having
the mouse track the keyboard? I am think of the "track mouse with focus"
radio button. Thanks.
