With as many problems as your hnaving with it, I have none at all. If you
have an XP machine, try that and see what happens.

Hi Everyone,
Window-Eyes doesn't read anything. <smile> It needs to talk during any
progress that is going on, don't you all think? <smile>
Thanks.

I use Ninite with WE on Windows 7 and XP. Sometimes tabbing through is
quiet but the mouse keys read the screen as it exists. I believe you have
something else going on. How many programs did you put on one installer?
Have you tried getting installers for each of the programs to try to
trouble shoot the problem? I am not seeing how WE's to blame here.

Hi Everyone,
I want to thank you all for trying to help me figure out what's going on
with Ninite and Window-Eyes.
To be honest, Window-Eyes does not read anything that Ninite is doing and
I feel that it should. I'm in contact with the company, and they had me
send them a report from my computer. This will hopefully give them some
information.
I've been playing with my user account control setings in the control
pannel, and I set it to zero. So far this hasn't made any difference.
I can get Window-Eyes to read the Progress bar with incert and control
and the letter b. It just sits at zero percent.
I think it would be great if GW Micro could fix this problem, so we can
no what is goin on with the Ninite installer.
I did confirm with the company that even though they have a site for
Visually impaired, that the installer is no different than the regular
installer. It is jus the applications that are screen reader friendly,
that's all.
I'll let you know what happens, but I feel that GW Micro could and should
contact Ninite at: [email protected].
They are great people and willing to help.
Thanks a bunch to all of you.
Blessings,
Pat Ferguson
