In your folder list, select your inbox folder, then press your left arrow. That will automatically select your main account folder. Press Shift-F10, and choose new folder from the menu. Type in a name (i.e. GW-Apps) and press enter.

If you want to set up a filter to automatically place gw-app messages in your new GW-Apps folder, do the following:

1. Press Alt-T, R, M to open up the New Mail Rule dialog
2. Arrow down to "Where the To or CC line contains people, and press space to check it 3. Tab to the Actions list, and press space on the "Move it to the specified folder" item to check it 4. Tab to the rule description edit box, and arrow down to the "Where the To or CC line contains people" line, and press enter.
5. In the Select People dialog, enter [email protected], and press enter.
6. Tab to OK, and press enter.
7. Arrow down to the "Move it to the specified folder" line, and press enter. 8. Navigate the tree view, select the newly created gw-apps folder, and press enter. 9. Tab to the name edit box, and call it something like, "GW-Apps", then press enter.
10. Tab to OK, and press enter.

That's it! Now, whenever a new message comes in that has [email protected] in either to the To or CC fields, it will be moved out of your inbox and into the GW-Apps folder. The Rules dialog has several options. Outlook Express is somewhat limited in what rules you can create. Ideally, you would set up a rule to look for the X-List-Name header with a value of gw-apps. You can do that with Outlook and Thunderbird. Anywho, that should get you started.

I would like to set up a new folder in Outlook Express, for G. W. Aps. I don't know how. Could somebody write me off list, with the steps involved? Much appreciated.
