Hi James,
I know that I have to alt, tab a time or two to make sure that the download
window is what has focus. It's kinda a pain but I am then able to route the
mouse pointer to the window and read the download progress.

Subject: An undesirable result of the changes to how IE 8 is handeled
I just discovered this. When using WE 7.52 on my Windows 7 64 bit
machine and IE 8, when something is downloading I can not get the
mouse to route to and read the information in that dialog box any
more. I absolutely can not get it to be able to read the download
speed the CPS figure that use to be available. Now when I route the
mouse to cursor and try to arrow it just dings. I suspect this is a
result of the off screen model not being utilized to whatever extent
that it is not any more. Anyone have any suggestions?
