Thanks for the reply. The problem I'm having is that the edit boxes aren't labeled so it's hard to tell what text belongs where. I've tried counting the lines and boxes to try to line them up but it doesn't work for a form this complex.

Very frustrating.

Dan

Subject: Re: Edit fields in PDF tax forms and WE

I just finished filling in two federal PDF forms and may be able to help. I am using Adobe version 9, Windows XP Pro and WE 7.2.

1. Move to the edit box you need to fill in. Do this with the tab key or the up or down arrow keys. If you use the arrow keys you will get more information.
2. Press the enter key to turn off Browse Mode.
3. Enter the information requested.
4. Turn browse mode back on using the Shifted CTRL Key with the A Key.
5. Wait a couple of seconds to allow browse mode to become active again. If you don't wait long enough, browse will move back to the top of the form and you will need to tab or arrow back to where you last entered info.
6. Repeat instruction 1 thru 5 to continue down thru the form.

Hope this helps you. It works for me.
